2025年1月19日(日) から 1月28日(火)、ジャマイカにブルーマウンテンコーヒー農場を持
つ小川珈琲が、堺町錦店にて「NPO法人 LINK UP JAJA」とのコラボレーションイベント
を開催しました。
当日は、さをり織りをはじめとするアート作品の展示に加え、ジャマイカで障害者支援に
取り組むLINK UP JAJA様の活動や障害者支援の現状を伝えるトークイベントを実施しま
した。
ご来場いただいた方々には、小川珈琲コーヒーからブルーマウンテンコーヒーをプレゼ
ント。NPO法人LINK UP JAJA代表・永村の想いに触れながら、個性豊かなさをり織りア
ートを楽しんでいただきました。

「私自身、このイベントを通じて、ジャマイカの社会的課題について改めて考える機会を
得ました。また、LINK UP JAJA様の活動を知ることで、障害を持つ方々の可能性や、創
作を通じた自己表現の大切さを実感しました。
一杯のコーヒーをきっかけに、多様な価値観や社会課題に触れられる機会を創ることがで
き、とても嬉しく思います。これからも皆様とともに、私たちの未来やコーヒーを取り巻
く環境について考え、学び続けていきたいです。」

Ogawa Coffee, which owns Blue Mountain Coffee Farm in Jamaica, held a collaboration
event with “NPO LINK UP JAJA” at the Sakaimachi Nishiki store.
On the day of the event, in addition to exhibiting artworks including hand weaving, a talk
event was held to introduce the activities of LINK UP JAJA, which supports people with
disabilities in Jamaica, and the current state of support for people with disabilities.
Those who attended received a free Blue Mountain Coffee from Ogawa Coffee.
Participants enjoyed the unique hand-weaving art while experiencing the thoughts of

Nagamura, the NPO LINK UP JAJA representative.

again. Also, by learning about LINK UP JAJA’s activities, I realized the potential of people
with disabilities and the importance of self-expression through creation.
I am very happy to create an opportunity for people to discuss diverse values ​​and social
issues over a cup of coffee. We would like to continue to think and learn about our future
and the environment surrounding coffee with everyone. ”
